About Meir

Adv. Meir Fuchs, is a partner in the Law Firm of Gideon Koren & Co. www.gkl.co.il

and is a member of the Bar of the State of New York, since 1984 and of the Israeli Bar from 1986.


Meir has been active in the Hi-Tech field since the mid-‘90’s.


Meir represented in Israel a U.S underwriter which led a number of Initial Public Offerings (IPO) of Israeli companies on the NASDAQ, including Nur Macroprinters (today Ellomay), Magal Security Systems, Eltek and more.

Over the years Meir has represented clients in many fund raising and private offerings, both on the part of companies raising funds as well as on the part of investors.


Meir’s expertize includes the field of life science, as well, in which he has represented, among others, an Israeli medical device company which raised funds from the international OrbiMed venture fund, which investment in this company has now reached approximately $65,000,000.


Meir also represents a large number of entrepreneurs and start-up in all hi-tech and life science fields.

During the past year, for example, Meir represented an IoT company owned by entrepreneur of Israeli origin, and whose shareholders included Fujitsu, which company was sold to an arm of the GE group for the sum of $40,000,000; Meir also represented a Dutch gaming company which bought out an Israeli gaming company, for the sum $3,500,000.


In addition to the hi-tech and life science fields, Meir represents Israeli companies which have the distribution rights of various foreign manufacturers from Europe, the United States and Japan, in the fields of military equipment, machinery for the plastics industry (sold to Netafim, for example), sunglass frames and more. Meir also advises on agreements for the importation of goods from China and other countries.


Meir has many years of experience in the field of commercial litigation, and especially in cross-border issues, in which he can bring to the fore his multi-cultural abilities.


Meir lived in New York for 18 years (and in Paris for one year), studying and working, a background which allows him to deal effectively with foreign clients, with an understanding of their culture and needs.


A large part of Meir’s work is conducted in English.


Meir speaks: Hebrew, English, French and Hungarian.
